The idea for this type of embroidered greeting card originated in 2022. I wanted to create something different than the embroidered cards where you stitch directly onto the cardstock, because I wanted to be able to use a version of some of my existing designs and I wanted to use applique.
Bruce and I have now created several card sets of six or more designs each. In each design pack, we also include the designs without the quilted background so that you can use the designs any way you want. Some of the design packs do not include wording, so that you can write your own message. Others include the wording for a specific holiday. We think it is a fast and easy way to create personalized cards!
