The whimsical embroidery applique designs in Adventure Awaits were inspired by the outdoor pastimes - camping and hiking.  This quilt is a perfect candidate for a Block of the Month.

The CD contains machine embroidery designs in the following formats: .art, .art60, .dst, .exp, .hus, .jef, .pes, .vip, and .vp3.

Each of the designs has been divided up so that they can be stitched out using a hoop with an embroidery field that is at least 200mm x 300mm (7.8” x 11.8”). Alternatively, they can be completed using a hoop with an embroidery field approx 256mm x 400mm (10.2” x 15.7”) or using a hoop that is approx 150mm x 400mm (5.8” x 15.7”; this is the Bernina Mega Hoop).

Exact design sizes are listed at the top of each of the hooping stitch-outs.

BONUS BLOCK!!!: Lantern embroidery design has also been included in this pattern. You can use it in place of one of the other blocks or you can use it on its own.

*Pattern includes cutting instructions and SVG cutting files that can be used with your preferred electronic cutting machine.

This pattern was not designed for the type of applique where you cut away the extra fabric. The templates are the actual applique size and after cutting out the pieces, you will place the pieces within stitched-out placement lines.

HOWEVER: You CAN use the cutaway method for your applique, but you will have to repeat the placement line after you place your fabric down and before you cut your fabric away.   I do not include a second placement line or a tack down stitch in my designs.
