Finished Size: 24” x 33.5” (Christmas Calendar: 24” x 29”)

Countdown Calendar came about because my dad was looking for an embroidery machine version of a Christmas calendar to make. We hunted around and found very little on the market. Thus, this pattern was created. I have included the embroidery designs for several different countdown calendars: BACK TO SCHOOL, BIRTHDAY, CHRISTMAS, GRADUATION, HALLOWEEN, RETIREMENT, AND VACATION.

The CD contains machine embroidery designs in the following formats: ART60, .ART, .DST, .EXP, .HUS, .JEF, .PES, .SHV, and .VP3.

A hoop with an embroidery field AT LEAST 145mm x 255mm (5.7” x 10”) is required. Several of the Calendar header designs can be created in fewer hoopings using a hoop that is as least 256mm x 400mm (10.2” x 15.7”). Number pockets can be stitched out two at a time, three at a time, and six at a time depending on size of hoop.

*Pattern includes cutting instructions and SVG cutting files that can be used with your preferred electronic cutting machine.

This pattern was not designed for the type of applique where you cut away the extra fabric. The templates are the actual applique size and after cutting out the pieces, you will place the pieces within stitched-out placement lines.

HOWEVER: You CAN use the cutaway method for your applique, but you will have to repeat the placement line after you place your fabric down and before you cut your fabric away.   I do not include a second placement line or a tack down stitch in my designs.
