Tropicale is inspired from memories of warm ocean breezes and sandy beaches. These colorful designs have been arranged into a wall quilt but the designs could be used in many other ways. Aloha!!!

This pattern contains the following:

  • A collection of machine embroidery designs in the following formats: .DST, .EXP, .HUS, .JEF, .PES, .VIP and .VP3. A hoop with an embroidery field APPROX 145mm x 255mm (5.7” x 10”) or similar is REQUIRED. Also included are optional full size versions of the 3 multi-hooping designs, which require a hoop with an embroidery field APPROX 200mm x 300mm (8” x 12”). (See design sizes on back cover.)

  • Easy to follow, step-by-step instructions for embroidery applique.

  • BONUS: “Beach You To It!” tote bag

  • Mirror and non-mirror templates for cutting out shapes.

*Pattern includes cutting instructions and SVG cutting files that can be used with your preferred electronic cutting machine.

This pattern was not designed for the type of applique where you cut away the extra fabric. The templates are the actual applique size and after cutting out the pieces, you will place the pieces within stitched-out placement lines.

HOWEVER: You CAN use the cutaway method for your applique, but you will have to repeat the placement line after you place your fabric down and before you cut your fabric away.   I do not include a second placement line or a tack down stitch in my designs.
