The embroidery applique designs in Feel the Beat were inspired by a love of music and an appreciation for musicians. The quilt was the first complete collaboration between Fabric Confetti and Bruce Allen Designs. This quilt is a perfect candidate for a Block of the Month.

This CD contains the following: Design files the following formats: .ART, .DST, .EXP, .HUS, .JEF, .PES, .VIP, .VP3.

Although each of the designs differs in size, each design CAN be stitched out using a hoop with an embroidery field that is at LEAST 200mm x 300mm (7.8” x 11.8”). In your stitch-out folders these design names end in H1 or H2. They are multi-hoop stitch-outs.

For these same designs you will also find a SingleHooping file. These versions can be completed in one hooping, using a hoop with an embroidery field approx 270mm x 400mm (10.62” x 15.7”). Exact design sizes are listed in the top right corner of each of the hooping stitch-outs and in the hooping layout files.

Instructions and designs have been divided up in separate folders so that it is easier to complete in sections or as a Block of the Month. We suggest that you print off all the instructions for each block, hole-punch them and keep them in a binder. Alternatively, you can view the PDFs on your iPad or computer as you work.

*Pattern includes cutting instructions and SVG cutting files that can be used with your preferred electronic cutting machine.

BONUS - layout and ideas for WALL HANGING version of Feel The Beat quilt. Approx Finished Size 42" x 46".

This pattern was not designed for the type of applique where you cut away the extra fabric. The templates are the actual applique size and after cutting out the pieces, you will place the pieces within stitched-out placement lines.

HOWEVER: You CAN use the cutaway method for your applique, but you will have to repeat the placement line after you place your fabric down and before you cut your fabric away.   I do not include a second placement line or a tack down stitch in my designs.
