These Christmas Past In-the-Hoop designs make fun gifts for the holidays.
Each design can be made into a mug rug, stuffed to be a desk pillow, AND all eight of the designs can be used without quilting to decorate just about anything.

This pattern contains the following: Design files and instructions for 24 designs: 8 Mug Rug/Desk Pillows, 8 Design Only versions, (without wording or background quilting) and 8 Design with Wording versions, (without background quilting) - in the following formats: .DST, .EMB,.EXP, .HUS, .JEF, .PES, .VP3.

Designs included are:

*MR2 - Jingle
*MR3 - Noel
*MR4 - Cheer
*MR5 - Merry
*MR6 - Magical
*MR7 - Jolly
*MR8 - Festive

The 8 Mug Rug/Desk Pillows designs are: 6.00" x 10.00". A 6.29” x 10.2” (160 x 260) hoop or larger is required. The quilted designs do not fit the Bernina Midi hoop because of the square corners.

As a bonus, all 8 designs also come WITHOUT the quilted background and/or wording.

  • A 5.7” x 10.0” (145 x 255) hoop or larger is required for the 8 Design with Wording versions.
  • A 5” x 7” (130mm x 180mm) hoop or larger is required for the 8 Design Only versions

** You will use the same stitch-out instructions for these non-quilted designs, by following the same directions but simply disregarding the steps that no longer apply to the file that you are stitching. (ie; quilting step, wording step or back closing step.)

* General instructions PDF and individual stitch-out instruction PDFs.

* Mirror and non-mirror PDF templates for cutting out shapes.

* PDF templates and SVG cutting files that can be used with your preferred electronic cutting machine.

This pattern is NOT designed for the type of applique where you cut away the extra fabric. The templates are the actual applique size and after cutting out the pieces, you will place the pieces within stitched-out placement lines. HOWEVER: If you are going to use the cutaway method for your applique, you will have to repeat the placement line after you place your fabric down and before you cut your fabric away. I do not include a second placement line or a tack down stitch in my designs.
